what kind of chassis are you using? all chassis have different ways for mounting electronics!

Here's mine. I think it's pretty clean.

12 gage wire is way crazy overkill for a crawler, but yes, most HTUSA's will have it. I'm running 18 gage from the esc to the motor.

my receiver and torquemaster br-xl are mounted on little pieces of lexan.. with Velcro.. oh and the lipo mounts on the front links where the velco is... The wire job is just temporary cause I should be getting a puller tomorrow

I used TQ racing brand wire, it's hardcore slotcar racing wire, super flexible, thin silicone insulation. But any good quality multi strand wire will work. 12 gage is so big it can be hard to work with, it's just not necessary for crawlers since the amp draw is so low. Smaller wire is easier to work with, lighter and cheaper.

Yes, the trans is flipped. I had to think about that for a bit, it's been so long since the first dig was installed.....

i cant give any pics at the moment, but heres what i did. getting all weight low as possible. i made two plates. mounted my receiver and esc on the rear axle. using the servo plate mount holes on the outsides closest to the tires is where i mounted them. i havent seen anyone run them like this for except moa's. for the front i built my own plate close to the big one that you can offset your servo. but mine stops in the center where the links bolt to. then i put another bent plate coming from the first one angled down laying down on the axle. i have enough room fora 3cell lipo or a 2/3a 7 cell. thats the lowest i could get everything. when i get some more time. ill takes some pics

Use 12 or 14ga tekin/deans/ or other good silicone insulated oxygen free copper wire. Don't use household stuff though. Its solid core and not flexible enough. Your esc has 14ga, so you might as well use the same.

Here's a couple pics of my vanquish incision chassis ax10 electronics

Rx mounted on plate on front links, antenna plate glued to Rx.
ESC is mounted to custom plate that mounts to the underside of the top battery plate, it also serves as a wire guide.
Slightly modded servo mount for dna dig.
In the process of front axle battery setup. I think i will still keep the top battery plate for frame rigidity and its not too heavy so very minor effect on cog.

I mounted my receiver on the front upper link plate and the esc on the rear upper link plate. Probably not the best but it works for me.

It's a custom torsion chassis, but I ran the electronics pretty similar on the stock chassis. Only difference is the reciever goes on a plate mounted the the front upper links.
