| ax10 tube chassis...which one?
I was thinking about upgrading my ax10 with a tube chassis but not sure which one to go with. Any suggestions?

Proline's looks good. Cheap and has a panel kit, if you don't want to do your own...

I'm really happy with my HBZ warthog. They're pricey, but I was lucky enough to acquire a used one in perfect shape ! They have plenty enough room to hold my brushless motor, controller and RC4WD R2 tranny with DIG servo all within the chassis.

i have a RC4WD Rock Rider built around the AX10. took a little doing to get the links right and you have to re-drill for the Axial tranny. but it crawls like a dream. used the panels that come with it as a pattern to make fullsize panels out of Aluminum sheet, and it looks really good. |

The only problem i have with the edge is that it maintains the stock geometry. Eclipse is also a direct swap.

I have built 4 Edge chassis, they are OK, but the links have to go where the panels mounting holes are. If you need to gain access, you have to take them all apart. (unless you cut them and them it looks pieced together) The R2j Kustoms V2.2 tuber is by far the best looking and performing chassis that's close to stock but offers much better adjustment. It's a complete tube chassis as well and comes with panels and skid. Best bang for the buck by far. The Eclipse is nice but you'd better be good with placing electronics and running wiring so it doesn't look like spagetti threw up. I've built 2 or 3 Bastard jr. chassis and they are by far my favorite for looks. Still you need to be good at placing electonics but it offers better areas of customization for doing so. DMG, make some sick stuff as well, and they are mean as hell lookin'. |

I agree the edge does have its limitations but you can find a used one for next to nothing. I did and paid $15 for it. once you change over to droop and get everything the way you want it it doesnt do to bad. It may not be a comp winner everytime but it does get the job done. |

I like my Proline, but there doesn't look like there's room for a dig.
