You should consider some colored panels behind the drilled hood and roof.. This thing is the best I've seen on this site yet ! |

Duuuuuuuuude ! This is by far one of the most informative threads I have came upon, especially the way you kept the 4-link explanation simple. If this thing crawls half as good as it looks you got a winner GREAT JOB !

PSA time! Nearly everything that went on in this thread was learned here by searching, reading stickies, asking proper questions, reading some more, some hands on trial and error, and even more searching and reading. RCC houses an ungodly amount of knowledge, held both in written form and by those who occupy these pages. When people tell you to "search" they aren't always just being an a-hole. What you want to know is out there and available to you if you want to put the effort into it. Its like the old saying "You can give a man a fish and he'll eat for the rest of the day, but teach him how to fish and he'll eat for the rest of his life." Go fish, my freinds. | |

I gots pics! First I went out to some local rocks, managed to get a few shots and the battery died in the camera. Got home, put in new batteries, said screw it, I ain't drivin there again and decided to snap a few on the hood of my Monty. Got a couple more as it started to rain. Then I gave up, cleaned up the workbench a bit and took the rest. Figured I'd get them before it was all mucked up with the electronics. and the mandatory flex shot... |

This is a wicked build thread, I'm gonna steal your rear 4 link idea btw. One quick question though on your front servo plate, did you use spacers under it or does the servo just barely fit? |

That looks like a concept for future production Dude it has a very sculpted appearance piece of art in fact. If it works like it looks your set for 2010 dam that's one good looking rig Dude nicely done. |

You guys are awesome, thank you! Took it on its maiden voyage today, and it did pretty good. I was kinda scared of scratching it up so I wasn't out very long. I'm happy with it though. Here's some tech spec's for those who want to know... Wheelbase ~ 12.5" GC @ full droop ~ 2.25" GC @ full extension ~ 3.75" Weight minus wheels and battery ~ 2.5 lbs (1/2lb less than my comp rig!) Its equipped with Rovers on Berg wheels, a 35t handwound motor, Sidewinder, 5645 servo, and TQ3 rx. |
