and problem with pins coming out or them breaking. |
TMaxx shafts are cheap and strong. Mine have been in for a year now. "thumbsup" |
thats funny cause i just tried to get them to work and when i got them cut and all i popped it off the output. and that was at tight as i could get the screw holding it down. I might buy the mip units and the integy ones to see what i like better. Than i will have a backup. |
You won't need a backup for MIP driveshafts, they're bombproof. Spend the money for stronger trans outputs cause thats where the weak link moves to, that also solves the popping off issue. |
MIP. "thumbsup" |
If your running a dig you may need the thunder tech short drive bone to go with the mips. http://www.rpphobby.com/product_p/mipds01.htm |
good to know. |
My MIP's are bombproof. |
MIP is the way to go"thumbsup" |
well ordered them up so they should be here any day now. With the vanquish dig it is needed to get the shorter shafts from thundertech. |
I think you still do even though the output doesnt move you still have the added length of the dig on the back of the trans. |
Man so thats like 35 bucks plus 50 plus the dig geez. Wish they would tell you that you need shorter links. maybe i will just cut the stocks or the mip ones. |

The output shaft is bigger on the T-max..CDW used to make adapters..."thumbsup" |
ya i was in the same boat dropped fifty on the MIPS then a month later spent another 35 for dig but i think tcs has the shorty for dig and the long for the front for 60 or just buy the shorter shaft for 20 bucks and take apart your old rear and use the new little shaft |
Can't yo just cut down your rear MIP shaft that you already own? I think that is all they do...No use spending $20 when you already own the MIP's. |
