Help me choose a set of shocks

Hi, I am having trouble working out what shocks I should purchase?

I am buying through www.amainshobbies.com as there postage costs are pretty good as I am in New Zealand (next to Australia) but happy to try other dealers out.

I have a RTR AX10 that I am kitting out.

Also in the meantime I want to refill the stock shocks with some new oil. Any recommendations on what type to use?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Buck.

going to buy the transition droop shocks for my crawler project :)

and the shipping isnt very expensive to Norway so prolly not too expensive to New Zealand either:p

A lot of people run the Losi crawler shocks.

Man I really like the ones you have for your scaler, can they be used on a AX10 crawler too????

yea why not :) they are really nice shocks, if they are long enough for you then it will be a good replacement for the ax10 :)

Get losi crawler shocks with white springs. I have a set on my shafty for while and it flat-out works!

Are these the 4" shocks? Do you happen to know the part# for those?

I'm running the new dual spring RC4WD shocks. You can run these with just a drop of oil and they work awesome. The biggest plus is the are a pretty narrow shock and won't interfere with any steering radius changes you might choose to make.

On the front I'm running the stock black (firm) spring on the bottom and some softer Orange springs from mini-LST shocks on the top.

On the back I am running both the stock firm black springs on the top and the bottom to help with the torque twist."thumbsup"

Nope. Used teflon tape and leaking became obsolete.
