Default rc4wd spool

any one run the rc4wd spool in the rear instead of using different axial gears?
howd it work out?
a guy at the LHS said he ran that in the rear and it really helped with TT so just wondering if anyone has tried or if its not worth the 40 bucks

It has nothing to do with the gearing or torque twist. It's just a replacement for the stock diff. Same # of teeth.
