Default Chassis?! or Shocks?! or Wheels?!

Alright. I got some money to spend. I need help picking what on. First I am going to get some rovers. No question. Now I gotta narrow down my priorities. Here is what I am watching. I really like the FF4 chassis. Am I stupid for ordering a chassis if I am running the stock shocks with alu upgrades and running proline plastic beedlock wheels? If I had my pick I would go chassis, then wheels, then shocks? What am I missing?

Default ...

I have done all those upgrades but Chassis is definately the best by far. Tires also. I have seen many good setups with stock shocks and wheels.

ide say chassis then shocks then wheels.
get the chassis and the shocks together if you can.
wheels are really iffy IMO. ive had no issues running the stock wheels. while ive read of others stripping hexes. just keep the wheel nuts tight and the plastic wheels should last a long while

As long you have rovers(white dot) at the top you are good to go. But yes, a chassis would be next.

Default Rovers are on order.

Rovers are certainly at the top. I am using hammers now and they are far better than stock but still just not cutting it.

Make sure to get foams to go with those rovers. The stock foams are 1/2" shorter than the tires and the fold over on themselves horribly.

Nova's Ark Double Deuce foams for certain

I would get the rovers & foams first. They will make a huge difference over the Hammers! I've got the FF-4 chassis and it is top notch I'm still gathering parts for the build, its gonna be slow, but it'll be my comp. rig for next season so I've got a while...

Default The tires are definitely on the list

I am definitely getting tires no question about it, but I am think I am going to get a chassis while I am at it. I am now struggling with trying to order delrin or simply order stainless steel for lower links.

Default Shocks

I am running the integy aluminum upgrade parts for the stock shocks flipped and I am either not bleeding them right or something as they simply have this odd first bit of travel that is not cool at all. Feels grainy or spotty or something. I am probably going to have to take them to a shop and have some one show me how to bleed a shock right. I know I know........ Integy sucks but I got a great deal on them! I am probably going to stick with them as I am super pumped about everything else.

integys are just garbage get yourself some losi 4in or big bores
as for links get delrin less hangups and most likely cheaper and easier to work with

Certainly cheaper. My delrin links cost me $10 to make, the SS links cost $30.

both ways I have enough leftover material to make a 2nd set

The delrin slide on areas the SS did hang up on too. SS slid on areas aluminum hung up on. SS is strongest, delrin "can" break but is so cheap just make a new one!

Default SS the cheap and easy way

I have been making my own SS links using threaded rod (all thread) and ss tubing. I use a small grade pipe cutter to cut it square and to length. This way the SS tubing is a LOT cheaper and much easier to work with.
