| Delrin tranny plate??
Anyone have or know where I can get this delrin R2 tranny plate for a ax10? Supposebly was purchased thru www.thecrawlerstore.com a while back. Any other better suggestions for delrin plates other than making it myself. -Tim |

Get out the cutting board or get one from a dollar store. Make it your self or call/visit R2j Kustoms. Shon has them or will make one for you with what ever link set up you want. Inboard, double triangulated or a mix of the 2. He's got WAY COOL links too, while you're at it you might make it worth doing it all perfect in one shot. |

Tip with the cutting board, sand the bottom with a medium > fine sand paper. That seems to help get rid of the rough surface on the bottom. I got lucky and have access to a milling machine so i did some fancy crap to mine and man it looks nice If you can machine the nylon the results are incredible... till it hits the rocks Have you considered making the skid so the chassis doesn't touch the rocks, it could be done using a hack saw and some other stuff. like the skids on the F-4 and FF-4 |
