better steering they say they are suppose to be stronger but ive heard lots of ppl breaking the MIP cvds, i have the aftermarket axials only cuz they came with a rig i bought with gunners pins but the stock cvds are plenty strong and you can get better steering if you trim the c cub down and 1/16 to 1/8

What are they for? To piss you off when you find out how weak they are.
Benifits? A little more steering at a huge loss in strength.
Better? Axial CVD's steer just as much and are stronger, esp. with Gunnar's pins. Super300 CVD's steer the most and are unbreakable.

Anyone have a link for Super300's?

I've been reading up about CVDs lately, seeing as how I want to improve the steering on my scx10 based 6x6. The idea I'm getting is it's super300's or nothing. Other cvds just don't cut it.

I just dropped the idea when I saw the price tag on the super300s. I'm sure there worth it, but its not that important for me.

51 degrees of steering is impressive though. . .

Im running the Axial CVD's right now and they seem to be working pretty good, I run 7.5oz in the wheels and dig they seen fine. At $30 bucks a set there pretty cheep too. 300's are probably the best, but there are a lot of other shafts out there that are better then MIP's for a reasonable price.
