Did a little fine tuning with upper link positions and then rebuilt the BTA with Vanquish Knuckles

So here are some Action shots

So I guess the battery is mounted on the upper links? Seems like you could get alot more steering from those Super 300's. It looks nice, but why have a plate on top of the chassis? All in all, a decent build. I'm sure you'll improve it further.

Yes, the battery is mounted on the upper links on the front. The plate is for the electronics cause the chassis is so narrow and the tranny under it.
plus the wiring looks way better than having wires every where.
I do have full steering out of the front. Pics dont do justice.

Will get some videos dont have any at this time of this rig. But it climbs everything a MOA has. It also has zero torque twist and only weighs in @ 4.8lbs.

What length are you links and what shock oil are you running?

The links are a hair over stock legth cause the way they are mounted and the uppers are 83% the length of the uppers. All link angles are super critical when running a shafty vereses an MOA. It took about 2 months to get the rig dialed but now all I have to do is drive it. I also changed the front upper 4 link plate a little. I will post pics soon.
The shock oil in the front is 35 and the oil in rear is 45.
running team assosiated silver springs in the front and full length axial super softs in the rear with a upper team assosiated green spring cut down as a preload. So the rear has a dual rate spring setup.
The rig is extermly forgiving like a MOA so you can race acroos the rocks to make up time when comping but still can crawl anything long as it gets traction.

Thanks for the info. I made some links for mine and am in the tuning stages. This info will help!

That VP stuff is classy! Very nice. What's the code# of your hubs? I also like the roof of the body, that looks like a cool tatoo!

Wasnt to bad have a couple tricks that I use to make it easy. The only pain in the a$$ part was weighting the wheels not my space to work with

Looks great! Could you please post better pics of your link holes mounting on chassis, so we can see what holes you used. And would you post the eye to eye length of the links. That will help a lot for others who are building the VP incision too.

I too own a shafty incision and am very pleased with it.

VP is always top quality, and they have excellent customer service too!
