The comp today was pretty fun. I was really nervous(first comp) and it was pretty slippery out there and my truck kept getting hung up on rocks. So I did pretty bad and didn't finish either courses. My drive shaft also pooped off on the begining of one of the courses, but luckily I was able to get it back in.

Repair.

This gate was really slippery.

Hopefully I can do better next time.

Practice makes perfect. Something I did for cheap was, I built a pretty good size course in my backyard. Rocks from the size of my tire to twice the size of the crawler then I went to fred's and they have tennis balls that are for dogs which are different colors I bought 9 for 3 bucks. 3 in a pack, a buck a pack. I set up courses on my course, and I go 3 courses a day. Having to watch what your doing really makes it harder.

My rear end felt kinda sloppy/weird, so I took it apart to see what was up with it. When I was taking the hex's off the axle, All I saw left left from the pin was a peice about 1/4 the size from the regular one. Luckily I had a spare, but eventually I'm just going to have to get some gunnar pins to be safe.

Sounds like me "well ill get it when I break something" Or you could get some piano wire from the hobby shop and be set for LIFE! That stuff sure is tough and is GNARLY on cutting wheels and cutoff snips... don't ask how I know

Good work at the comp! Practice makes perfect, slippery rocks or not! its one of those times where you make a judgement call about going fast and praying it makes it, or going slow and hoping the tires hook up. Fun decisions to make
