I want to put a BTA sterring setup on this and do i just need to get the knuckles and i can use my stock steering links?Or do i have to buy the special BTA steering links?

Lol nah not really the hood was free and it just has a 351w out of a bronco.

you can get the hot racing bta kit or the axial for around 50 bucks and trhe both come with all new steering linkages and new knuckles.

great looking rig

just got some high clearence links today but i just got home so i havent put them on yet,i was having shooting my friends brand new springfield xd-40.

but ill post pics up later tonight with a BTA set up on it.

Well there will be no pics tonight,but i will get it finished in the next couple days because we might go camping at the lake.

I'm not finished yet because i have to do some grinding and modifying.

Just finished doing my BTA steering.I just need to get some little batteries that will fit on the front axle.If you know were to get some 3s cheap,let me know.

I think it looks pretty sick.

Question...are those tires a bit wide? I dont touch my servo or battery on my front plate with the crap lizzards that come stock with the AX10.

The rover's are a pretty big tire but he may not have his steering limited, like you may have on yours.

No my steering is not limited and the rovers are wider than the lizards even with stock foams.

How do you get your rovers so clean? I washed mine TWICE with simple green and a brush, they look okay but yours still has that new shine to them.

simple green and they should clean up nice,but ive also only crawled mine a couple times with these tires and i'm sure you have way more time on your tires than mine.

Yeah i've got around 30 packs on mine. They cleaned up pretty good the 2nd time with simple green. After the 30 packs there still going good.
