Default time for a new dig.... need some advice

i have a DNA dig right now and its giving up the ghost, so its time to look for a new dig, i see the vanquish has a pretty BA dig but the price isn't to exciting but what else is out there that is doing good? so what are you running?

Thanks

VP hands down, it is smooth, never misses a shift even in the hardest of binds, and is small, it fits without modification into the smallest of chassis

It is not cheap but is proven to work, and backed by VP's great customer service.

If I ever build another shafty I will be buying another VP dig

I've been very happy with the Eritex 3.1 dig.
Very light, smooth, and compact plus you don't need to run a beefy servo for it to hold.

you get what you pay for, from the ones ive seen (i don't own a shafty comp rig) the VP is pretty bad ass. if i were to build on, that'd be it, for sure.

VP all the way! Another plus that was not mentioned above about the VP is the fact that the drivshaft length does not change like other brands. And the dogs in housing are steel, not aluminum like DNA. And you can use a tiny 225mg servo on it.

The early DNA had aluminum dogs the later had steel and there was a steel upgrade kit for the ealier versions.I had very good luck with DNA digs but am looking at a VP for my Daughters rig now.I setup a VP for a friend and it is very nice and shifts great. VP

RigRocker was refering to the dogs machined into the back of the DNA dig housing itself. The VP has replaceable dogs bolted into it's housing.

Vp and you dont need a beefy servo for that either. I run a micro servo on mine with no dramas at all.
