Because you're not using mine Maybe your turning too far, putting stress on the pin?

gunnar pins are great, probably the best bang for buck "hop up" part available!

They should be there soon. I also think when using plastic knuckles and C's, when in a bind they might cause some deflection to the assembly, which could also stress the pin. There are some drawbacks to using stronger pins however:

This is the stock axle hex pin that bent, the other two pins were in two different CVD's that were used in the rig during bind testing. I can help with this uncommon problem too:

I wouldn't say they are the best, it's really just a pin. With the smiley at the end, it was more of a joking reply. Anyone can get a length of music wire and cut their own pins, but I do try to make them as well as I can.

Actually Gunnars' pins do hold up great. His hex pins saved me from continuous bent and broken stock hex pins.
Heck I have even tried using 1/10 nitro touring pins to avail but his are holding still.

Speaking of those, I've actually been making quite a few them today, up to about 150 or so now. There will be a giveaway coming up in a few months, this will be in a game show format, there should be ALOT of winners with this type of giveaway. It will either be the 10th or 17th of July. I'll post up reminders as we get closer to those dates, should be fun!
