You can change the servo plate, but you will need to modify it to have the same link mounting geometry as the GC3 servo plate.
I mount my battery on the upper links. I've included a pic of my truck that shows my battery mounted.
I tried mounting up the Axial BTA and it is not a direct fit. I have not had a chance to modify it to see how much work it takes.

I've gotten some questions about the shock setup and body mounts so here is the info.
They are Duratrax Evader ST Front shocks. I am using the ex-soft silver spring in front and the soft white spring in the rear.
The body mounts are actually off of a Duratrax Raze truggy. I had to drill them to fit the chassis braces and put a set screw to secure them tigtly to the chassis brace.

Fixed the front link location and as you can see the pinion angle is no longer an issue. Austin has been running his A LOT!! Austin is beside himself how well it works.

Cool, I can't wait to see how it does. Are you running the link and shock positions in those pics?

The pinion angle is not really that bad , he has not got his front lowers in there correct location so the lowers are actually making it seem that they are to long I will have to send Jason some instructions on how to put this thing together.....just kidding . My pinion angle is not that bad it is lower than the rear but that is to get the proper caster I believe the truck needs.

LOL Nice , you would think as many hours as I've spent on this project I would have noticed that. HAHA ya send me a set of the instructions .....that I wrote. Real funny Austin
I've been changing out different shocks and just got careless. I will fix it first thing in the morning and fix the pics. I should probably go to bed now so I can actually focus.
