Nice looking rig, should work well. they do look goofy but i bet they are a great chassis. That is a lot of material off the dig unit, nice to see they are thick enough for clearance w/o a hole in the case afterwards.

That is the front axle I got from you. I had to use the VP knuckles on my son's scale truck.

Nice build Eddie do you think a VP Hurtz dig will fit better?

Not sure it will fit better but it will definitely fit. Rockshow designed this chassis to fit with it.

LOL, you are right Norm. One of the things Rockshow wanted me to check on this chassis was the DNA dig fitment. So yes, a VP dig would fit much easier into this chassis. I seem to forget all the work it took to make the DNA work.

A guy has to use what he has on hand you said yourself this is more of a testing mule.

By the way those over sized foams you sent me are working very nicely, I'm going to comp them this weekend and I'm expecting good results.

Yes, they do really perform great! I ran the prototype during testing and have been running the current chassis testing it for a few months. I ran it at the Rox Box this past weekend on some courses in between rounds and it climbed most of the obstacles with ease. Everyone was impressed.

PM rockshow. He is working on getting them up on t1erc.com but if you PM him he will get you the info you need to get one.

Good Luck! If you have any questions feel free to ask!

Your truck looks good Eddie! Looking forward to hanging out again soon!

Hey Eddie did you ever finish these up? What do you think? I have a stage and lower links on order good by GC-2 possibly. I should probably just get a MOA and join the modern world.

Sadly, no. This truck has been sitting on the shelf. I started to rewire a Mamba Max with 18 gauge wire and stopped there. I haven't touched it since and that was months ago. All it needs is electronics, which I have, but I just haven't made the time.
