Yeah you are going to break axle parts left and right with that setup. Be prepared.

So did you just cannibalize another ax10 or did you buy all of those extra parts?

I think the best thing to do with the trans motor situation would be to put the motors flat on the skid and figure some sort of floating upper mount for the trans

I'm sure I built stuff like that when I was 12. But it is very kool playing with different ideas and honing building skills. Keep it up!

I was going to go dual motors on my axial too. but then I wasnt sure if there was added benefit. I wanted to use an emaxx tranny that I have lying around from my Juggernaut buildup

Ok so I mounted the transmission back in the stock position. But that's not my problem right now. I've got 4 more complete rock lizards coming in and want to know if i should do 4x4 dually front and back I like the idea of doing that but wanna know what ya'll think about it?

I think you should do dualy front and back, just the back would make the front to narrow IMO, but you will have the parts either way? try it in all configurations. i also agree with the aluminum knuckles, that much tire is going to put alot of stress on the steering componenets, anyway, looks good, looks like your having fun, I cant wait to see some action shots

Thanks gunnar.

I think it will turn out sweet. At least unique.

Just a thought, instead of running 2 motors on one tranny, why not use two tranny inline? That way less stress on the tranny and you can also run the dig in moa style. IMO that would be alot more doable and easier to maintain the crawler.

well that was my original plan. But i crawl on a budget and now all my funds are going towards my in progress e-maxx as it is not complete yet it'll be a while before I start spending as I've go save up for a car and college. Being only 15 though things are limited.
