I didnt have a metric bit, so i used 11/64 bit. its snug, maybe alittle reaming. The main reason i got the LD kit was the 4-link battery/servo plate. The link works ok, just have to make sure your bolts are not too tight. Even with the bushings there is some slop. Im just living with it, until i find a better way to bolt it all up.

well tried something new with the LD bta. I tried these thrust bearings, we will have to see how they hold up. With the axial flanged bushing and the thrust bearings, im able to tighten the bolts more. Thus reducing alot of the slop in the steering. Im just curious as to how much abuse these bearings will take?

From the top of the bolt to the bottom,it goes 3mm washer-rodend-3mm washer-flange bushing-Ld link-thrust bearing-knuckle-locknut.

the other side

Thanks Richard, im just worried about the bearings holding up. I have been known to be alittle rough on my truckI learned that from the guys i crawl with. Boca Bearing has some that are $7 for 1 bearing they might be sturdier. Only time will tell.

I got tired of the big rats nest of extra wires on top going to my rx.

So i picked up this crimper and connectors, can never have too many tools. This is my first time shortening wires. Actually wasnt all that difficult. And cut .3oz off the top of my rig.

I like my fronts bent, i think it might be personal preference. I dont have as much belly clearance as some of the moa's, so i need all the help i can get. I believe my fronts are 4 1/8 eye to eye, but im not there right now to measure.

Cool. It looks like DickyT are straight in front. I saw the measurements in DickyT's build, I wonder how long that is before you bend? lol I'll be making some brake line and threaded rod lowers and delrin uppers for mine today too

You might think about metal uppers for the front. Delrin sure flexes alot during digs.

Agreed, after having my front fold under on a dig attempt at a state comp this year I went to aluminum uppers for the front to maintain some rigidity.

On a side note for those of you who went from an FF-4 to a Fastback, the chassis braces that came with the FF-4 make perfect sized upper front links on the Fastback if you are running a 4 link plate
