First, read this thread.

Frogger's BAD COP twin!

Now, in short, here is what I used.

Spektrum DX3R radio
Spektrum SR300 RX
PunkRC 4 steer switch
dual HS-7954SH servos
Castle Creations BEC
HH Torquemaster BR-XL ESC
HH Torquemaster 45T handwound motor

That will get you started. The PunkRC 4 steer switch is badass! I use a 3 position button on the TX to switch between different modes on the 4 steer switch. Mode 1 = 4 wheel steer. Mode 2 = 2 wheel steer. Mode 3 = crab walk.

Have fun.

Keep in mind, this setup with 4 wheel steer will not be allowed to compete in any class...except, if you keep your 4 steer switch locked at 2 wheel steer mode. Then you can compete in the sportsman class. But, I did not build this to compete with...just for fun...and it is fun!

I am not sure about this, because I have never built a rig with 4w steering. I wanted to build a comp rig, but I am pretty sure you can get a Futaba 3PM-X and your done. It has 4w steer mixing.

This is correct...and cheaper. With the 3PM-X, you will not need the PunkRC 4 steer switch.

I was meerly showing my setup.
