Default axles

Does anyone make all aluminum axle housings for the AX-10?

I have tried to search with no real clear answer. I have seen some axle ends in pics. Who makes those?

Thanks

Just a thought, but aluminum tends to grab on rock instead of slide over it like the stock plastic ones do. This may or may not be an issue for you though.

A friend of mine just ordered Integy axles housings for his SCX10, not sure of the quality but when he gets them I can let you know.

You can get aluminum C's, Knuckles, and straight-axle adapters from just about anywhere - there are at least a half-dozen different manufacturers making them now.

For the housing, I'd stick to the stock plastic, they're pretty tough as-is and won't gouge like aluminum would.

I guess since I was searching on the forum for someone that advertises here, I forgot to use my search engine. Silly me for wanting to support the folks here.

What is the peice called at the very end of the axle tubes, that the knuckles screw on to. That is really the part that I need. Thanks.

Does the Axial brand aluminum stuff tend to be as good quality as some of the aftermarket companies? I am on stock axles and figure C's, knuckles, and perhaps some Gunnar Beef Toobs will be near the top of my upgrade list.

HR make a good one that is a reasonable price. How ever if you want the best go straight for the clockable axial C.
