Default Possible To Creep And GO Fast?

I was wondering if there's a motor or esc that would allow me to have decent speed and still be able to creep? I'm currently running a 55t which is great for crawling but I would like to have some speed like the stock 27t without losing the ability to creep. So if there's anything out there please let me know.

team brood 35t R/T hand wound on 3s and a tekin fxr... they have great low speed torque and precision and lots of speed is just a trigger pull away!

First step for you is to go Lipo and bump up to 12 volts (Packs are rated at 3.3 volts a cell, but its 12.6V when fully charged), should move like lighting in comparison to what you are used too.

Hopefully your esc can handle it.

X'2 on the lipo. I run a 3s hyperion, 35t HH Handwound, and Tekin FXR.

I just made the switch to a 3 cell lipos on both my Ax10s. Its insane how much more speed and power they have. And I still have low speed torque and control. Im running sidewinder /tekin ESC's and 35/45 motors.

I run the goat system as well. Its great, use it with the 14t pinion and it works perfect. I have a 4ws truck and if a turn all 4 wheels and full throttle it will roll over.

Alright then I guess I'll pick up a lipo. Any suggestions on a budget friendly one?

I run a maxamps lipo on my rigs with the front axle battery plate.

I run the 2 cell batteries, but if you want some extra punch go for the 3 cell.
The only thing you need to keep in mind is the rating on your ESC, make sure it can handle what you want to throw at it

My buddy runs 3s lipo, 13.5t Ballistic brushless w/ 14mm rotor. It crawls really well and gets up and goes too.

We had that same setup but used a 12.3mm rotor. That was way too fast LOL.

Yeah I just searched around and I'm running a rooster crawler esc so I guess I can't go any higher than a 2 cell. Hows the battery life on yours?

i would agree 3s with compatible esc and 35t, any lower turn motor and it loses the torque needed for steady uphill grippy crawls.

I'm running
- Holmes Hobbies 12T Cobalt
- CC Sidewinder ESC - custom throttle curve
- Integy 11.1v (3s) 35c 1300mAh Lipo.

Can crawl 75deg and do 35km/hr just not at the same time.

I would agree that the best option would be a 35T handwound motor. I use HH motors, but I would be tempted to get a Brood 35T if I could.
