Probably not hard to figure out if the guy who designed it told you how.

I said it before in another thread, Austin's mount will also tell you the size of some bolts and other shorter kind of things.

I new i should've took some pic's @ Nats with my cell but, I wouldn't be enough of a dick to post them up. Its kind of like the pic I got of Ba..g....r... well never mind.

Back on track Dunn's mount was trick as hell. If he hasn't changed some of you will get what I'm talking about.

Ok I have no idea what that means. I carefully watched the video of Austins rig at Brians hobbyland and towards the end the rig turns on it's side and for a moment you can kinda see something. It looks like the battery is turned on it's side and somehow mounted in between the upper and lower links, as for the servo I have no idea. Austin is definitly running a small battery because if I try to put my 1100mah Hyperions where it looks like his are I would be afraid the drive shaft would rub a hole in it and burn down my rig. I am kinda running out of time for this project for now because I have a comp to go to next weekend. I think I will go back to the first one I tried, and move the servo as far back as it will go without hitting anything. That should leave enough room to put the battery in front of the servo on the front axle. It's not what I wanted to do but I have to come up with something that will work for now. Anyway here are some pics of my last failed attempt at this setup.

yeah the 1100 is too big. I have a very similar setup like Gatekeepers and I run the 500mah 3s lipos. Mounts next to the servo. there is minimal rubbing on stuff but things are tight. Its all a trial and error with getting the servo and battery to fit

I just bought all new batteries, so I am not really looking to get more right now. I will just go with the Turbofest style setup for now.

I got my tie rod done it's 1/8" stainless so it's plenty strong. I also moved the servo back some so the battery does not stick out too far, and added slots for the strap. I am going to make 1 more servo mount with a lip turned up in the front to protect the battery and call it done...for now. All thats left is to make a drag link and test her out Sunday at a comp. Here are some pics of where I'm at now.

I dont know if its been asked yet. How are you going to make a link from the servo to the nuckle? I would think that flipping the servo over so the servo arm comes off the bottom making it more parallel to the nuckle would make it easyer to make a link. No? If its not in conflict with the drive shaft that is.

I was going to look into putting the horn down, if there is clearance I will go that route. If there is not clearance I will put the horn up like in the pics. I will put an offset bend in the draglink like Turbofest did.

I like your battery placement...or "front bumper" as some idiots would call it

You're gonna love the way this set-up works!

Very nice craftsmanship. It came out really nice!
