Very nice craftsmanship. It came out really nice!
Thanks alot, I got my inspiration from seeing the pics of yours. My batteries are not small enough to fit where Austin puts his, so I will have to join the lipo bumper club with you.

OK, here is what I am going to go with. I have a comp in the AM so I gotta get something that will work for now. I still have to come up with a drag link and I will post pics once I do. For now here are some pics of the mount as I will run it tomorrow.

Drag link is done! I took a link I did'nt use from my XR-10 and put an offset bend in it, works great everything clears. If everything works well at the comp tomorrow, I will take off the mount and link to black them out.

Well since the junkvak took a crap on me yesterday I need new running gear. I have a Mamba Max Pro and a Holmes hobbies Revolver black just sitting here waiting to be used in something. I guess I will load up the GC with those and see what happens!

The MMP and HH Black Revolver has some serious ass in the old AX-10! I just put it in the rig last night without a bec just to see how much torque and wheel speed it would have. With stock gearing it seems to have more power than the Goat 3s with a 12t pinion. I am very pleased and will now wire in the bec and start running this setup.

Alright. Explain yourself amigo. I do think the steering setup is cool for sure, and innovative which is most important, but I am not sure if I understand the benefit of it. It seams that the servo/battery mount setup works, and you have less links/rods all over the place. Finally I have a thought about your build I am about to apply to my own rig. Looks to me like a ton of your stuff is up high on your chassis. I am about to put my truck on a diet and everything that I can get at or as close to an axle is going low.

As far as the steering goes the only real benifit would be it's the only way I could get a bta setup to work. It's my sportsman rig so I am much quicker to experiment with things than I would be on my comp rig. As far as the electronics being high in the chassis I have been looking at ways to lower them but a MMP is a big ass esc.

I just got my GC3A today, but have been following your thread for awhile now. I like the BTA, very "outside the box" engineering . I'm still scratching my head as to where the electronics and battery are going to go in mine. Sure is a sweet chassis though, can't wait to try it out.

Since I flipped the knuckles for the bta there is alot of akerman in the steering. I have a set of VP zero akerman knuckles on the way to fix that. Does anyone know if the Jones'n bta steering link will work with the GC-3a?
