Default DNA Dig Servo placement question and photo

I made this servo mount and would like to get the servo closer to the dig so the wieght is not hung out there so far.

Will I be hurting anything by shorting up the distance even more?

If i can get it shorter I have a support bar to go between the shocks and I dont have to make some weird shaped piece to go around the servo.

I can cut this aluminum as short as needed, this is what i want to do.

Rotate the servo so the output is at the rear, then pull it in closer.

Servo can be very close to the dig blurry cell pics of my old rig. fubar moa skeeter chassis narrowed and modded for axial tranny. I didnt have room for a standard dna mount so this was what I came up with..

Mine was very similar and it worked perfect.

You might consider building another and putting all 4 screws in it,it could work loose if you only run 2.

Looks good.

thanks for the replies.

I am going to try and shorten the distance without flipping it around first. If that doesn't do it ill flip it and make it closer but with a longer link..

The whole truck is only mocked up right now. Waiting on parts to come in and deciding on parts and ideas... I am working out a completely new build and the dig has been the latest part of it.
