any info on adapters to bolt e maxx rims on the scorpion?

Why would you even want to do that, it would put a heavier load on the entire drive train and it would not be comp legle if you go to comps or plan too.

couldn't you just buy some 14mm hexes. I think they both use the pin through the axle design. But like he said......kinda a odd request.

AKA, Proline and Integy just to name 3, all sell 17mm wheel adapters. I have a set on my Slash 4x4 and run 1/8 buggy wheels and tires. I could also run any 17mm hex wheel. I think it was around $30 for the AKA's I have. I would not buy the AKA's again because of the wheel nut design. Some love them and I guess they are strong enough, its just that the M4 wheel nut it comes with is super thin walled and can NOT be bought anywhere but from AKA for $6 for 4. SO, dont loose a wheel nut. Oh,, and you cant ue any normal wheel wench either. I had to file down a Traxxas wheel wrench to fit.. Proline and Integy have a better design. I can't believe I just said "Integy had a better design" |

thanks for the replies. i wanted to know cause the tires would be good in the snow, imex rockcrawlers. but i geuss it needs more steel parts first seeing i stripped out my tranny gears with PL 2.2 chisels on it today.
