axle extenders Has anyone tried or used the integy 15mm extenders. Are they good or bad. |
Well, my first instinct would be ..... you said the word Integy. So, I will have to go with "BAD" |
why is everone hate'n on Integy |

Good enough answer for ya |
Oh, if you want to widen up your rig and can't afford VP wheels, Junfac makes wheel wideners. I have never used them my self, but I would go that route over integy |

that will do, thanks |
Something is whispering in my left ear - u have to avoid integy8) I got rear hubs from them and had to make spacers to install them properly. No manual, no instruction, no any mention, that it is not completely direct fit, damn. The more i ask bout integy, the more i'm sorry i got some parts from them. Screwed up products, i think they come along with 3racing. save bucks on alu parts and then, suddenly, spend them on parts quantity :lmao: |
EVERY integy part I have ever bought for any of my RC's has been Junk.. Why do I keep buying this crap  ? It looks pretty and is cheap.. Thats the problem, CHEAP define Junk : Screws ALWAYS strip out. Aluminum is poor quality and cracks easily Not any sign of an instruction sheet Anodizing not half as good as the other manufactuers... Gave it the Easy-Off oven cleaner test. 5 minutes will strip it while 45 minutes on Axial stuff and its still green. |

why are you trying to widen your axles? Are you planning on using these in a larger scale rig like 1:6 or something? Casey |
I just got my ax10 Monday and was just wondering if they helped or hurt. I haven't really got a chance to test it out other than just doing some couch crawling. |

OK, cool...so you dont have a specific need for them...you were just curious. You dont need them. I have a comp crawler that is axial based, and I have a 4 steer rig that is axial based. They work awesome with standard width. The best advice I can give you is for you to spend a few weeks reading this entire AX10 section...like the buildups, or the picture archive...try to get an idea of what others are running. Casey |
Will do. Thanks for the info |
With all due respect to mr jones here, I am going to respectfully dissagree. I am running some older DNA snipers (which I love) as I could not afford to spend $160 on what is most definitely one fo the best wheelsets on the market. I installed the Junfac wideners and my turning went from zero to hero instantly. Between some carefull link and shock placement up front and also the wideners my steering is crazy big. I guess it is a to each his own thingy. If you are running a narrow offset then wideners do work. |
That is exactly it...isnt it? To each his own. I personally run the B.A.M. wheels which are narrow, and my offset is rather narrow as well. I like my turning both in sportsman and pro classes. Different strokes for different folks. |
