Hate to disappoint, but............I whipped that out in Microsoft Paint and printed it. I don't have the supplies to paint it up over here. It's actually pretty easy to do. Just copy a good pic from the internet into paint, change it to look how you want it, paint over it and print! Just use card stock to print it on and zip tie it behind some clear side panels.

Congrats on getting one of these chassis, they are great!

RickM's solution was simple, and works great! I'm very appreciative of all the help he gave me with my Fastback build.

I have ordered an HR BAS setup, and should get it next week. Having seen Kc_JoNeS setup in this thread, I'd probably have gone that way instead, if I'd known about it.

But if you're waiting a couple weeks before ordering, I'll let you know what I think of the HR BAS as a possible option.

Thanks man! I've read your build up a few times. It looks great!!

Let me know what you think of the HR setup. I'm curious.

When I got back to the hooch this morning, I started working on a home brewed BTA system. It may not be as purdy as KC_JoNeS link, but it will work just as well. I think my biggest issue will be finding something suitably shaped for the 4 link mount. We will see!!

OK!

I borroewd the high steer knuckes and clockable Cs from my scaler, and put them on the A10 Fastback. Used the stock high mounted battery/ electronics tray from my o.g. ax10, and clearanced it appropriately. To find the shape I needed for the link, I bent up a template using a piece of tig welding rod. I then cut out the link to match the curves of the template.

Bolted it all up, and BINGO! BTA!!

I ended up using a Tamiya shackle hanger to mount my upper links.

The tires rub the shocks a little bit, but I will solve that with wideners. Like DickyT said, a little "fup, fup, fup" never killed anyone!

Once I switch to LIPO, I will trim the front plate down for weight savings and clearance.

It took about 5 hours total, over 2 days to get it right. I'll see how it works once I have a motor!!

Talking IT LIVES!!!!!!! (insert evil laugh here)

Finally!!!!! She moves under her own power!!!!! Just before 1/1/11, I called upon TCS for some crawler goodness. I guess I can do the whole "List your junk" now............

Underground Crawlers Fastback
Axial Trans
HH 45 Turn Pro Handwound
Rooster Crawler
645mg (I know, I know, it was cool several years ago)
2.2 Rock Grabbers
RC4WD Scale Beadlocks (soon to be DH Pros....in the mail......)
Overdriven Front Diff
Home Brewed BTA
VP High Clearance Knuckles
Axial Clockable Cs
Junfac Wideners
Straight Axle Rear
Axial bent rear links
Flipped, rod end, cap modded random tool box shocks
Traxxas progressive rate buggy springs in front
Whatever springs in rear?????
"Badger Mod" stock drive cups ( Thanks for that thread!)
Maxx Shaft - Made Easy!! (Thanks for that thread too!!)
1500 mAh TCS 8 cell saddle pack (Can't ship batteries home!!)
And a crap load of tips that I took from all of the other Fastback builders here. Thanks for all of the great advice and info!!

I killed my steering radius when I lowered the front plate, so I lifted it back up about 3mm and put a longer servo horn on. Problem solved. I also trimmed the living crap out of the battery / link / servo plate.

I really do not have any rocks to crawl, just some cement, and steps and other random stuff. But WOW, is this machine impressive! I can't wait to get home to AZ to actually crawl on some ROCKS!!!!! Now.... on to the pics.
