my ax 10

Okay guys I got this used and would like some input. I have the stock chassis, proline eight shooter bead locks, panther leaperd tires, hot racing dig, 4 link front and rear and 55t novak terra claw motor. I don't comp with it but I may later. I will link some pics.

Not bad. Myself I would see about getting different shock & springs, going lipo, getting a 35t or 45t motor. Also see about getting a delrin skid plate that moves the lower links inward more.

What kind of shocks and springs should I look for.

Wicked Klown 01-11-2011 03:49 PM

Alot of people seem to use Big Bores.

I saw that. Would you run them with a really soft spring all around or just up front. I'm new to all this

When I first bought my used AX10 it came with Losi 4" rock crawlers with soft up front and little firmer in the rear. I later changed chassis and went with a shorter shock with Losi 2.75" white springs in the front and Losi Yellows in the rear. Later I plan to change to Traxxas GTRs with 0.7 Jato spring on all four corners.

Thanks man. I will check the forums for more on the shocks.
