| copperhead or eclipse?
hi, I searched on the forum for information about those two tube frame. I would like to have someone's opinion about cost friendly for a full build. I currently have an ax10 with a rooster esc, 55 turn motor, hitec 5645 mg servos. I am new to crawler and I only plan to crawl with friends in the backyard. I mainly want a tuber because I like their look. Which of these two crawlers would be more cost friendly to be effective and which would fit better with what I already have? Thanks a lot in advance. blackheim |

Hy, TCS Eclipse seems better/more cool, for what u already have. I bet it preforms better too. I've only owned the TCS Eclipse. If u get one take a peek at This skid. http://www.eastendmachining.com/doretrskde.html Good luck! |

Thank a lot cornsnake! At first I wanted to build an eclipse but for now I am not sure cost is an issue and because I found a copperhead for almost half the price of an Eclipse I thought that maybe it could be a good crawler too. I really like the look of both. Cost is my first priority.. by the way I've seen your eclipse build and it is really cool. that would be the kind of crawler i'd like. |

I still own my Eclipse and continue to run it. I really dig the look of both but in my humble opinion the Eclipse is a better performing chassis. I'll second Cornsnakes suggestion on the EEM skid...I run one on mine and it's sweet If you end up with an Eclipse let me know if there's anything I can help you with. |
