Any futaba arm will fit the stock axial servo, the hitec has a different spline count, so you'll need a different arm for that one

Any will work long as it's a 24t arm.

I got an aluminum clamp style arm for a futaba off eBay for like 8 bucks and it works great.

Any aftermarket horn will be made for Futaba, JR, Hitec or whatever servo you run. Just make sure to get the right one for your servo. Robitronics and Racers Edge clamp style servo arms seem to be the most popular.

Stock Axial AS-2 metal gear servo? I doubt you'd break the servo arm before you burn out the servo. Even cranking up the voltage with an external BEC at 6.0V you'd be around 70 oz of torque. But yes aluminum servo arms are a must for any rock crawling rig.

Just keep in mind now that you purchased a 24 spline servo you can only run Hitec servos which are one of the most popular ones out there anyway!

Good luck!

Btw Towerpro MG995 servos aren't bad if you want a generic metal gear servo for a lightweight comp rip at a super cheap price...but they tend to be a little jittery finding center at times. 208oz torque at 6.0V which what I run on my 11 pound scale rig. I believe those are 25 spline...correct me if I am wrong.

On my comp rig I run nothing less than a Hitec 7955TG. It has lasted me years already at 6.0V 333oz torque. No problems finding center and never shutters like the TowerPro.
