First, use punctuation when you type. It makes it 1000% easier to read and understand what you're saying. Second, you need to explain what "don't work right" means. Since you mentioned springs a couple of times, I can only assume they are either too stiff or too soft. |

I know the stock shocks are way to long for the eclipse chassis, would assume it is the same for the edge.

O.K. All kidding and joking aside. I have actually owned and built this chassis with one of my AX10s. Using the stock shocks, you will need the TCS internal "droop" setup springs. You must run it in a "droop" configuration because the chassis was designed as a "droop" suspension to begin with. People have used a "droop" setup with the TCS Edge without internal springs, but you must use very heavy shock fluid, over 1000 wt., with the the 3-hole pistons. This presents other problems as well. Best advice, just put internal springs in the shocks. For a "sprung" setup, you will need to purchase shocks that are at a maximum, 80-90mm measured eye-to-eye. The trouble with this setup is that your C.O.G. is now slightly higher, which is not helped by the heavier, steel chassis. |
