VP servo setup wo epa? Go ahead and blast away about searching. I tried and couldnt find a solid answer, so here goes. I have a vp dig w a hitec 225 servo using a old traxxas radio. The three channel non 2.4ghz job. Modded 3ch to 3pos. So there are no epa on that radio correct? How do i set this up so as to not cook my little servo? Or is it impossible wo epa or is it a non issue or if it aint makin noise when it in position dont worry? I tried it a few times and it seemed to work. The little servo bracket flexes alot on the 2 end positions though.. I dont wanna upgrade my radio right now.. Servo saver? proper travel limiting through setup of servo arm? Help please. cant spend much and dont wanna fry what ive got. Thanks! |
Eventually you'll burn up the servo. Since you don't want to buy a radio, you could go with a servo stretcher. http://servocity.com/html/180o_servo_stretcher.html Or if you don't want to spend money on that, toss on a servo saver to prolong its life a bit more. |
I would say go with the servo stretcher for sure! |
hmmm... Yeah that stretcher looked pretty ok. my buddy just got a flysky 2.4 6ch. I may get one and gut it like the clockworks guy is doin. |
