VP servo setup wo epa?

Go ahead and blast away about searching. I tried and couldnt find a solid answer, so here goes. I have a vp dig w a hitec 225 servo using a old traxxas radio. The three channel non 2.4ghz job. Modded 3ch to 3pos. So there are no epa on that radio correct? How do i set this up so as to not cook my little servo? Or is it impossible wo epa or is it a non issue or if it aint makin noise when it in position dont worry? I tried it a few times and it seemed to work. The little servo bracket flexes alot on the 2 end positions though.. I dont wanna upgrade my radio right now.. Servo saver? proper travel limiting through setup of servo arm? Help please. cant spend much and dont wanna fry what ive got. Thanks!

Eventually you'll burn up the servo.

Since you don't want to buy a radio, you could go with a servo stretcher.

Or if you don't want to spend money on that, toss on a servo saver to prolong its life a bit more.

I would say go with the servo stretcher for sure!
