| Axle gear ratio?
I was looking that they have 3 diffrent gear ratio's for the axle. 1=stock, 2=43/13, 3=36/14. What is the better combo, the 36/14 front and stock rear. Or stock front with 43/13 rear, or 36/14 front and 43/13 rear?

i am using 36/14 front and stock rear. Seems to reverse without binding up. Tried the hi ratio in the front and the low in the rear. Seemed to bind and then unload when reversing

Have front stock and UD rear. Work ok.. Get them both and figure out your own combo. This is the best way |

i have a question: Will under-drive rears, stock fronts make the front tires spin faster versus over drive front and stock rears? The reason i ask is that i do like the overdriven front tires. But i would like to keep the difference between the two axles at a minimum.

here's how they break down in ratios: UD: 43/13=3.307 OD: 36/14=2.571 Stock: 38/13= 2.923 The different is negligible in either direction IMO, as its 0.4:1 difference in reduction between all 3 gear sets. To answer your question, faster (more top end) gearing will come with OD from and stock rear. |
