| Sorry if i am newb
Ok here we go...i just ordered an ax10 rtc and am waiting on the rig to come. So i went to the LHS and picked up the aluminum upgrade kit and hardware...all half off. here is the question...i dont like the stock axial rod ends with that little snap in ball, can i get rod ends that fit without too much modding? anyone have a list of the parts needed to complete this? I would really like full metal rod ends with the threads machined/cast into it and the ball hole size to match up for a no slop feel. Thanks in advance. |

rc4wd makes all sorts of good metal rod ends, you just need to know what size the shock shafts threads are and go from there.. |

Not a bad idea to go with metal rod ends even if they do get the same slop as the plastic ones do. I have had the plastic ones break in half when coming down off of ledges. I may look into gettting some of these in the near future.

I prefer Jato rod ends for lower links. Very strong and no slop.
