Anyone built a axial/LCC I was throwing around the idea of using a spare LNC/LCC chassis for my ax-10...... has anyone done this? if so I would like to see a build thread or any pointers to get on my way |
Losi transmissions are nearly 1:1. You wouldn't have any torque. |

I don't know why it wouldn't work. Not sure if it would gain you anything, but we won't know until you try. "thumbsup" |
well..for starters, the link geometry on the LNC/LCC chassis is phenomenal.... also the chassis is narrower, and its free, as in, I have it. and the axial chassis i am running (double-d or something) is just boxy and bland....so I wanna try something... thats all |
Then do it and report back to us! Or better yet, do a build thread. "thumbsup" |
I just might.... didn't know if anyone had tried it... the hardest part will be getting the tranny mounted up as there are so many holes in the losi skid already... but after practice tomorrow I will start teardown and start a build thread.... wanna donate some stuff... LOL... it'll be another BUDGET build thread.....basically all that axial really needs right now is a better servo, even though the one in it is stout er it turns, just slow.... hs615mg |
After driving an LNC I got to agree, I think the secret is how they mount the lower links. I put mine low on my car and wow, talk about stability. If you need a skid milled, shoot me a PM "thumbsup" |
