ya i think thats what i need but like i also need a screw that goes inbetween both of them because those look like they are threaded and my links are threaded

What you are looking for is a set screw, like these:

but make sure they match the diameter of rod ends that you bought.

Just wondering, why not use your old rod ends and set screws?

Have you looked in your parts/owners manual? There should be a parts breakdown that shows stock and upgrade parts.

I'm pretty sure that I used some M3 12mm ones when I did the same as you - RTC to bent lower links. Make sure that you use an M3 end though - some of the Traxxas ones are larger.

You can get an all in one parts pack from Axial that has the threaded inserts (set screws) and rod ends, but the Traxxas ends are better. I bought the hardware kit with a color pack (all new links), I replaced the Axial rod ends 2 weeks later with the Traxxas.

Here is the Axial kit with everything http://www.tcscrawlers.com/Axial-Rac...1-p-17066.html

Here is just a pack of the set screws http://www.tcscrawlers.com/Axial-Rac...6-p-17047.html

Here is the Traxxas rod end pack I used http://www.tcscrawlers.com/Traxxas-R...2-p-16324.html
