Mate,

That is a hand forged, carved by thumb nail, one-off custom, 316SS, blood sweat and tears patented HL special.
At least half a dozen beers died in the making of that link system. There were bottle tops and empties everywhere.

Good bloke and great builder of quality bored-at-work componentary.
His mother is Necessity.

I am really taking my time on this build. I want it to look really clean and simple, theres no body to hide all the mess.

Comped the stealth on the weekend.
Rush job on the roof saw it painted grey....

Was happy with the performance, but need to tune shocks and distribute weight a bit better.

I finally had some time this weekend to start the assembly of my "frogger". I will post more when I get a few runs and the body panels complete waiting on supplies.

Consisting of the following :

STRC Stuff ( Skid/rods/rear axle lock outs/Knuckles/C-hubs
MIP shafts
TCS boomerang and servo mount
(I believe) 3racing aluminum trans housing
3racing output shaft ( I am waiting to break !)
7 cell saddle packs
HH 540 Torquemaster 45t
Airtronics 94780m servo
Novac Rooster Crawler
Losi Comp Claws

Interesting!
I've gone the other way and changed to 4" Losi shocks wtih gold springs - I just couldn't get the clearance, but I do miss the low cog and ability to drop a wheel into a depression.

Still waiting on some Razors - I think they're not just smelting the Aluminum but waiting for some more to arrive by asteroid! When they finally arrive I'll try both set ups again but can see advantages of the Losi set-up - much more predictable handling.

Since I will be releasing the new stuff very soon...I think it is ok for me to show my final rendition of this style of frogger top. This is Frogger Hybrid. It is a prototype chassis I made awhile back topped with a version 1 frogger chassis...cut up of course.

Stay tuned...next week should be good.

Casey

Very nice Sam, you bringing that along with you on Sunday? I think I'll be heading out Sunday for most of the day to tune my rig on some real rocks.

Kinda looks like inboard, outboarded shock. A good approach.
And those knuckle weights look the shiz!

Thanks Stewy...actually, they are both outboarded. The new chassis release will make it super clear.
