Here is the final product. Still needs some more fine tuning and some serious bashing. What do you think of the green carbon fiber look ?

Consisting of the following :

STRC Stuff (Skid/rods/rear axle lock outs/Knuckles/C-hubs)
MIP shafts
TCS boomerang and servo mount
(I believe) 3racing aluminum trans housing
3racing output shaft ( I am waiting to break it !)
7 cell saddle packs
HH 540 Torquemaster 45t
Airtronics 94780m servo
Novac Rooster Crawler
Losi Comp Claws

Well first off I didn't paint it. It is vinyl off of ebay. I am very happy with the way it came out. Almost 3D in apperance.

Boris has reached the point where he'll be happy for a while - just some Razors to go.
I've put a short build thread here

Here's some updates after I followed some of Casey's advice. I extended the uppers to the furthest hole and I limited the shocks. I have the ride hieght at just under 3". The stock shocks don't like to be limited to far, I also have some losi whites up front and greys out back what a difference even though I haven't ran it yet. Had a little trouble resizing pic's so let's see which benchtop posers made it!

Couple more. Oh and the steering isn't done yet. I have to throw some support under my homebrew 4 link, servo, battery plate and get an aluminum servo horn.

Looking good Rksplz

Mine's set up very similar - I'm using Losi 4" shocks with Gold springs. You'll get more compression of the front ones as the radio gear goes in. I've goot mine outboarded as I couldn't stop them binding. Have you modded the shock cap as yours look to work OK (I haven't got mine upside down either as the Losi caps are wide)

Glad to see that I'm not the only one with issues posting images - I limit mine to the max that it will allow and the still come out smaller on the page than others manage.I can't print next to the image either - I get a montage like you. It's probably a Mac thing with me.

Thanks Dasher. I had the golds but they seemed too soft, oh well. Like you said once I stick all the radio gear in could change. I did mod the shock caps it worked out perfect to gimme that little extra to flip'em over. But it did make a long shock longer so a little extra limiting was needed. Right now though I'm happy with amount of articulation I have, the shock almost bottoms out right when the opposite tire starts to lift, if that makes sense. Now to take my first stab at wiring up this thing!

The picture problem maybe that you are uploading them to RCC instead of somewhere like J Album or Photobucket.

Up load them to an image sharing site then link them to here with html tags.

Use this button in your posting menu then paste the image location into the provided field.

You could be right Highlucks - I am posting direct. I do have a Photobucket account so will try doing that way next

Ok let's get this thread back on top. I got my frogger up and runnin last night on causulty was my bec I wasn't paying attention and plugged it in backwards and...... poof. All I could smell was grandmas toast. So I wired it up without the bec just to get it runnin and WOW this thing turned out awsome. I can't notice any torque twist up front, but there is a little goin backwards but it is backwards. I will post up some pics when I get the wiring cleaned up a bit. Great chassis
