I run my lower links inboard of the mounts, and the shocks right next to it with a spacer taking up the extra space. It uses a long M3 screw to reach.

It can be publicly found, but no info is in the public section. Talk to flapjack, he is the only one of us who has driven it. Juan has been on vaycay and the rest of us either do not have a functional ax10 to test with or are spending any hobby time working on or driving our Vipers.

I understand the need for a private forum for team members, but would love to see a public review of something before I buy it. Now going off of the first Fastback, there's pretty good odds that Juan "redid" his homework and knocked this one out of the ballpark . I did have a ready to go crawler till I fried the comm on my motor. Can't wait to see a review of this chassis Zack |

i cant speak for the person that has been driving this new cab. He has been driving my old ff4 chassis and cab for the last 6 months. He is digitaldave303. I have him post his thoughts on the changes.

So the new FF4 changes have made a huge difference in my eyes. I recently have been placing in the top 5 of the last few months. When I changed the cab with the new shock mounts and other changes its made a world of difference. I find now that in side hilling the rig does not roll over as much. I am getting much better articulation with out sacrificing stability. I also gained a few more degrees of steering because the shock being more inboard. I have done the Traxxas big bore shock upgrade with mini t springs and that gave me even more clearance. I am now sitting in the top 2 after 2 comps on the new design. I hope to have 1st at tomorrow nights comp. I will be posting pics as well.

Thanks for running it Dave...always good to hear things got better instead of worse I got back from Chicago Sunday night, and have been busy with shipping Vipers and making parts for the Fastback II. The skids just need the chamfering and leading/trailing edges machined and they will be done. Lowers just need powdercoat and they are done. Crossbars are done, and I'm putting together hardware kits now. I also spent some time this morning to get packaging started. |

| I'm going to send a PM to everyone on the list in the first post. I will include the web adress for the purchase, and that page will include a button for D-mounts as well.

lol...I've had many requests for the plans on the Fastback, but no they are not available. I've been going into work every morning to work on parts, and plan to work all weekend. I'll have a better idea by Sunday, and will send out the PM's when I know for sure. I gave away my only top to Van, so trust me...I want one soon too
