Does that new shock mount drop some making the front a little higher? Then , if a guy wanted to drop the front more could theshock mount be flipped over making the mounting spot higher up?

I just built a F4 for my son and it is so nice.

I would like one... Ill get in line to pre pay, pre order....... whatever..
that is if you make more.....

The upper plates were designed around the mount (which is actually the same mount on the Viper). It gives the same ride height as the original Fastback.

My girlfriend had a half marathon today, so I ran into work to get as many tops done as possible. I'll be finishing the rest tomorrow, and then start getting these things ready to ship. I'll be sending a PM to everyone on the list with a link where they can be purchased soon.

Sweet.

Got any specs as to recommended link length or do we need to swim through DickyT's build thread?

Somehow managed to snag one, soooo pumped to build one.

Perhaps of the chassis somewhere you could put "1 of 25" or "2 of 25" etc. Haha that would be cool.

Cool, I should be able to make mine stretch using long Jato ends.

I sent off all of the PM's tonight, with the link to the purchase page.

If you are on the list, and did not receive a PM from me, please PM me!!

I plan to have all of these in the mail this week. Please include your RCC name in the notes so I can cross you off the list.

Thanks everyone

Juan

The Fastback was designed for 4" shocks. Many use Losi's, but I have always used Axial Comp shocks. If I was to switch, I'd go with Big Bores and Losi Mini-T springs for the front with either the shock cap mod, or Crazy Origin caps. I'd also run these inverted.

Sent my cash but I didn't have a special section like normal for notes or I'm just not awake enough yet... also pm'd you about it and gave my info so you can cross me off!

I run big bores inverted on the FB1 and they are awesome. I run the cap mod but I would get the crazy origin caps next time around... they're just pure beef lol. I also run the mini t springs and made my own spring cups because jeepndug didn't make them then. There is 2 part numbers, one for the 3.5 inch shock, 3660 and one for the 4 inch shock, 3662. I run the 3662 with internal limiters and would run the 3660 with the CO caps next time around! That will give you a perfect 4 inch shock! Happy building boys!

I have received notes from others about who they are, so maybe it's just you?

Everyone who has the green light for shipping, will see their name in green in the first post (could take me a day to change your name). All of the tops were finished this morning, and the hardware should be here early this week. I'll be packing up as many as possible each night and getting these in the mail this week.

WARNING TO CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE U.S.

For some reason, shipping outside the US has been VERY slow lately...please expect longer than usual shipping times for your chassis to arrive. I have seen deliveries of almost a month...I know it sucks, but I can't do anything to speed it up. Just a heads up.
