| R2 dual DIG trans questions
So I was looking at DIG units and saw the R2 dual setup. Pretty interesting. If it's a quality unit without serious bugs it seems like a good value, at $80. Being fully aluminum housed and geared,it seems like it would cost more to put one together myself! I would like to know how well has it worked for people who have used it? What servo setups have been run for actuation of the unit? If people out there have used it and liked it please tell me why, if you didn't like it or if it didn't work well for a certain application, please do tell. Thanks for the help.

That's a good question the RC4WD dig was one of the first a lot of us ran the R2, it was large, heavy and sounded just like a card in your bicycle spokes. I ran one for a year and switched to the VF when it came out and now I run the VP Hurtz. I can't say I ever seen the duel dig in a rig, I'm sure there where out there but never even saw a build thread using one. You are obviously are doing your research, I'd just get a VP and move on. |

Thanks for getting back so quick. I've been looking at the VP unit and it looks sweet. Only problem is it's backordered for a month as of now.
