| Aluminum Transmission housings
I'm thing about getting one of these because on my crawler I run 6s lipo and hammer motors pretty fast so I need to pull them alot to turn the comm and change brushes. When I do this the tranny has to unbolt from the skid so the threads in plastic get beat up quickly. My question is, does housings such as the Vanquish allow the "flip" to be done where the motor comes in from the opposite side through the hole with the plug in it on the stock Axial unit? I eliminate alot of torque twist that way, and want to still run that way. Thanks. |

Yes, the VP case will work either way, the plug will fit on both sides. VP case used: |

I had an Integy trans case on my recently sold AX10 and can tell you, you cannot run it the way you are currently with that tranny. I don't know about other but the Integy tranny is one solid piece were the cap usually is.

I bought a Golden Horizon green al tranny house. Only issue I had was my VF dig would not mount to it. Only paid $12.99 + shipping for it.

| That is a easy fix, just get a round file and file the corners of the dig untill it fits. I did the same thing with a DNA dig and integy tranny case.

Did that still didn't help. There is an area near that top the on the stock housing has a thin line. On the GH one it's alot wider, would have to cut a bigger notch int he dig. | |
