The only problem i have with the sportsman class is that in our group there are maybe 7 trucks, and only 2 of us have full time jobs to support building a truck, the other trucks are run by the kids of the guys running in the pro class. I am hoping that with this rig i can get some more people to build up some sportsman rigs and see that they are just as much fun as a pro class. I have ordered the axial steel outputs from the LHS ETA-June But i have a few spare outputs that i will use until i get the new ones. Why did axial design the output like that, it just seems like a cash grab to me. |

Couldn't have worded it better, it's going to be a long boring sportsman ride if more people don't get involved. 1st and 2nd shouldn't be so easy LOL, either that or clear a shelf off P.S. I've ordered new idler and diff gears but my LHS didn't give me an ETA, after seeing a few people recently pop those outdrives I don't want to get in a predicament. My truck held together for the first time and I'm pretty sure those are the next week link. |

That's pretty much the only thing I'm happy about with my performance at that comp, my truck stayed together for once. LOL.

So its been a while since i posted anything about my PD. I have been super busy at work and have been (playing on the dark side) building myself an XR10 to replace my Pro-class rig. Retiring my Pro rig ment that i could "borrow" some of its parts for the PD. I took the Axial CVDs with gunnar pins and installed them, as well as the steel idler from the tranny. I also took the wheels and tires from the pro rig and mounted them up to the PD. Now that it runs I can finally drive it again! |

Its been a while, here are the changes made. -Electronics moved to under the front batt. plate (not an easy task) -Narrowed DH1's all round with proline 2 stage foams. -Rear shocks changed to Axial comp shocks and front changed to some big springs. -Played with link length to get the drive line angles right. -Removed BTA so i could move electronics -Weighs in at 5lbs 8.6oz I am going to get this (and the XR) rig up to the LHS this week/weekend to try and get some more run time in and shoot some video. |

Ya, that was the deterent for me, removing the BTA. Also my hands are so big. I don't have the dextarity to one solder things very well (need a ton of more practice) . Or the ability to put small things into even smaller areas.
