| My poison dart build
So I tore down my original frogger to build up the new new frogger. Waiting on the chassis but I figured I would start the thread now, here's where I'm at. Front axle O/D gears STRC relocating plate HR hubs Axial Knuckles JR z9100t steering Beef Tubes (set to extra clocking!) Felsenfest spools Rowdy Racing servo armor HB servo horn Rear Axle U/D gears Axial plastic lockouts and straight axles Made a plate like Casey did to try out, have a TCS boomerang plate on the side Axial transmission FXR Tekin 35t CC BEC Spektrum SR300 And the rod ends Shocks are from a traxxas rustler (the monster jam one so they are green) Wheels and tires are Pro-Line Chisels and Pro-Line Titus beadlocks (until I can afford some VP black/greens) As for the color scheme i am getting a purple chassis with the green shocks, not sure if I am going to dye the white parts. I want black wheels with green rings. the panels are going to be painted with a purple/green that i used on my original AX10 which used to have these axles and trans. Here is a picture of the paint on the B-17 body |

Nice looking build up so far, but the big question is does this mean no sportsman this weekend. What's the ETA on those Poison Dart 2's ?

Ya no sporty this weekend just the SWX in the pro class. The tracking info says its departed Hong Kong facility. I'm pretty sure its express so i might get it in time to do a rough build up, we will see. I'm also waiting on our Junfac shafts to get here too. |

Well I'm not complaining LOL gives me a better chance. I've been waiting on my rear big bores, the LHS was having issues getting them into Canada because they are packaged with oil. Once I have those and the shafts I'm done with the GC3A, I got someone to buy my Wraith so I can go ahead with the XR (fingers crossed).

Yup, No Diggity yet. I had to paint up my C10 to have a legal body too. Hopefully there are enough entries that they don't cancel Sportsman, might have to bring some 1.9's LOL.

Checked the tracking again CINCINNATI HUB, OH. So i should have it on Monday. I plan on getting it roughed together and running by Wednesday night to give it a shake down run at the LHS and get some action shots. I keep checking the tracking number waiting for it to say "out for delivery". |

Yep purple chassis is what i got. Not sure on the delrin dye yet but purple and green are the colors so far. I think i am gonna get those new VP hub/knuckles when they are released. Combined with a bta i think this thing is gonna be just the thing i need to kill some moa's (guess i'll need a dig too)

Psh Dig... I run a rig with a UD rear and some clocking and nothing to fancy other than that and ive pulled some insane lines. Mind you I haven't gone up against an MOA but it all boils down to skill. and having fun and praying the MOA is an XR and its going to blow its gears | |
