Question Ax2 ?

OK guys I love my ax10 but have a problem I cant figure out. I think it something maybe in the programing but dont know. I can get the radio to sink and the steering works but no throttle at all. No reverse nothing. Ive had it since xmas and its always had this problem. Its rtc rig and I have 2 and the other one is starting to show same problem. It use to sit for awhile after turned on for a few minutes then forward and reverse would start working. Today I took it out and the throttle never would work. Is there something in the castle link that would possably effect this? I need to call axial but am really buisy during week so havnt been able to. Im open to any ideas.

Mine does the same thing. Based on what I've read I think I am going to try a ccbec. If that doesn't work then I'll be upgrading electronics sooner than I had thought.

Hey man, Sounds like you need to recalibrate the ESC to the radio?

Try this.

Make sure you have a charged battery in your car.

Turn your radio on
Then with full throttle pressed turn on your esc, you should here a couple of chimes.
Now let your trigger release to neutral after a few seconds you should here a more chimes.
Once you here them go to full reverse you should hear some more chimes.

After that you should be recalibrated and good to go.

This seems to have worked for me, however now when I turn on the esc there are no chimes, it's just on. I don't necessarily mind the absence of the chimes, but am a bit curious as to the reason for it. Also when I went to full reverse as you said to, my truck crashed into my ankle real hard. Just thought that was kind of funny is all.

No worries, and sorry about the ankle damage.

If you go to the Castle site, you should be able to download the instructions fore the Sidewinder ESC. Most of these should apply to the AE-2. but I am not to sure as I have never owned an AE-2 just the sidewinder.

Sidewinder is full forward, then full reverse, then neutral....might explain the ankle damage?
