Looks like you also broke the output shaft, is that correct or is it just the way the picture looks? Did the bearing in the tranny just fail or did something else happen?

Just bearing failure. I am going to make a new output shaft though once I get a Vanquish housing and motor plate. Got some old traxxas links that are going to be donors.

This rig is simply sick Chris.
The FSJ mod blew my mind, when I saw it.
Great work, great driving, just great.

How did you cut the grove for the E-Clip? I can't seem to find a file that small. I've got the 58mm Titanium shaft in the mail and am gonna try my hand at machining Titanium. Have you noticed any issues or do you have any concerns with the stock shaft as far as strength is concerned?

I put it in my drill press with the gear on it, then took my dremmel to it a pube above the gear and cut one in that way. Worked out just tits. Just took my time. I haven't noticed any strength issues, but then again, I haven't been uber mean to her. In an effort to save the stock bearings. Once I have the VP trans case and motor plate in it, I will throw down the hurt for sure. But then again, I am going to make a new shaft because the front piece that's left is just about an 8th inch too short for my comfort. And the metal I am going to be using is stronger. So it will be hard to say. But I am sure it's fine. You would have to be throwing alot of powA down to hurt that. I like light trucks also, so that helps parts stay alive.

I don;t know about you, but that sounds ;ike too big a tolerance. That is unless you are talking about a female's pube, which shouldn;t be there to begin with

It depends on the color. Red, brown, and blonde each measure out differently. The technical term for such a measurement is "CH". So if you used one from a red head it would be RCH, so on and so forth...

I feel silly posting a pic of a crawler in here but I lack any whitey banter about pubic hair and couch. All I can do is throw a pic of you crawling through where gate 3 was that killed most drivers this weekend
