Default SWX or Gatekeeper gc3a?

I have been searching and reading so much the last 3-4 hours that I have a migraine......hooked on crawlers. What chassis is better? Pros and cons of each? I have a Novak Goat 3s now and stock axial chassis with BTA steering. I dont really want to lose the bta steering but if the gatekeeper is that much better than the swx then maybe i'd consider. I'm keeping my eyes on the Tekin Roc 412 motor which I will prob buy when it comes out, along with a mamba max pro. Will that motor fit in the gatekeeper? Its can is 55 mm. So far I'm leaning towards the Gatekeeper but theres the steering issue.

Cool

Ive got the swx chassis on my ax10 and i love it! you should have no problems with it. I have a puller motor in mine and it is 57 mm long and its a very close fit, you couldnt go any longer than that. Ill try and get a couple pics up

cool man, thanks. I'm starting to lean more towards the swx because i think it requires less custom modifications and im deployed now so i have few tools and materials to do anything custom

I have the SWX chassis too the only thing is you might need to notch the skid plate to clear the drive shafts.

Swx is designed to use 4 inch shocks. 100mm. Use that size shock and no skid filing is needed

The GC3A was developed by multi time National Champion Austin Dunn
The GC3A is a more recent chassis (only about 6 months old) but based on the winning design of the GC2. Also, there are alot of recent GC3A build threads on here to help you out if needed.
Good luck and enjoy.
