I thought about that, they just didn't seem the same as old ones. But maybe it s just an illusion because the why they cut them now. They're cheap enough, i will probably start there.

They look to be not as wide as the originals but I'd still give the CG-3 mounts a test fit first they are probably only slightly narrower, which may actually be better. Austin wouldn't have modified his design that if it improve performance.

Here's a Video taken by TomEGunn at yesterdays comp. http://s685.photobucket.com/albums/v...0501104244.mp4 The truck lost it's dig on the first gate so the video the truck is without dig, my HS225MG gave up the ghost and just died after 3 years of perfect service. Bryan Croft (bcroft) gets all the credit for the "Hater Tire" design, it's an amazing combination, I prefer it to the Losi Boss Claw any day of the week.

Hey thanks Kurtus, it's been surprisingly very competitive, which is always a good thing when you compete with a shafty.

sloth, you won't regret it, it's a awesome set-up. Rockshow hit a sweet spot for the shafties with this chassis. Mine drives like a Gatekeeper but with awesome ground clearance, it climbs, descends and side hills like no shafty I've ever had. These are our the results from our fist comp this year, the second comp was going the same way until it had a mechanical. I'll get that information for you later when I get home. |

I'm not trying to be a bragger, just wanted to demonstrate the chassis and set up are good. It was off to the same result in the second comp and it had a mechanical that ruined the second course. We won't comp again till 6/5, we'll see if it continues to preform well in basically a MOA club. I still owe you some numbers sloth.

Its a good rig. Works very well. Its set up is almost spot on. I'm hoping to have the fastback going again for a little friendly shafty competition. I wont run it for the day, but Ill run it for some practice and what not after |

I don't think so Dude, Mike did this at the end of last year with a UGC Fastback and then moved to a new XR that's sitting on my shoulders in scores I posted.

Yeah I know, just giving him a hard time for not driving a shafty.

As you can see in the scores, I am not set-up as well Norm, however in my defense this is my rookie year, and I am still reading old posts and watching norm and the other drivers and there set-ups. And hopefully by the end of the spring series I will also be one of the shaftys at the top of that list. |
