I'm dyeing my parts in a pot like this http://cgi.ebay.de/WMF-SPARGELTOPF-N...item3f0c56328d

This are good 4 litres with one pack of RIT. I put it on the stove in our kitchen. When the water is warm I mix RIT into it and put the basket with the parts in the pot ! When it begins to boil I reduce the temperature and let it bubble for another hour. Then I turn it off and let the parts bathing into the sauce over night. And the next morning I enjoy the look!!
I store the rest of the sauce in a can to use it again.

Thanks..... I appreciate that. 2 weeks, I am sure I should have at least 1 left.

I am considering making some more Delrin top pieces, and maybe a couple more skid plates, but that is it.

Just to be clear...Kurt and Jason are the only 2 people to break a topper so far out of about 50 chassis out there. But, yes, when I get some new tops made, they will be beefier around that front nose section.

Just to be clear on my part, it was 100% my fault it f
Broke, it filpped backwards directly onto that corner a few feet so I don't blame design for that one, not many delrin toppers would. Casey sold me a replacement topper for next to nothing so no compliants here with the service either, Jason was also taken care of as well. I do think a v2 topper is a great idea though cause a little beef never hurts. Let me know when you have one ready and I'll be buying one for sure. Thx casey

Posting up righteous pics of a chassis people can no longer get (new)?
That's slightly cruel.

At least you didn't also show some sweet AL rims that are also NLA. (DNA Thrashers)

And posting up video of it in action would have been just plain mean, wouldn't it? heh, heh.

Kinda glad you put that up there. Had I bought one new it probably woulda been black/grey. When I found one up for trade, and it was purple and white, I wasn't sure if I'd like it. Real happy with how it turned out, though. Awesome rig.

Thanks for sharing.
