Thats almost new. I would check out the for sale section on here and get one that way. Might find a fixed up crawler or fastback etc.

If it's completely stock that isn't that great of a deal. You can get a brand new one for $240 at Amain Hobbies and $235 from CKRC. Look around you can find coupons for amain to help out with shipping.

the ax10 rtr needs alot of work to fix the weak points so if you can find one that has been moded it would be cheaper

does it have an ESC or radio? The ESC is pretty important especially if you want to run lipo batteries (which I highly recommend). The older stock axial ESC (The AE-1) does not have a low voltage cut off whereas the new ESC (AE-2) does have the cutoff and is much more desirable.

I'm with the rest...if it's pretty much all stock i'd hold out and get one on here. look for one with upgrades, chassis, tires, electronics. I see nice ax-10's that are upgraded for around $200-$250 frequently on here.

yep, I wouldn't pay over $150 for a near-stock rig, and that would have to be nearly new.

I'm also in the same spot, I've been searching for an ax10 and I've found one that is reasonable for $150 used, its being sold as RTR. I've had quite a few RC's in the past but I'm looking to get into the crawlers. The deal I have lined up is "fair" but the truck looks used. I wanna check out the classified section but I dont have 30 post and I've not been a member for 30 days. If I could find a better deal for 200 I'd jump on it. No way around the forum restrictions though.
